The trip is going to cost a fair bit of money and there is new gear to buy – so you can help me!
– well, “new” is putting it generously, because I have nothing usable at all, so it all has to be acquired.
There is gear to buy, money for food, unexpected costs, a plane ticket and so on – and then “unfortunately” all the fixed bills back home still have to be paid while I am away. Because I am not planning to sell everything I own 🙂 this trip is too short for that to make sense to me (I think).
Sadly the boss could not be talked into paying me a salary while I am gone either, so there is a big hole to fill there. (Did you notice how I made that sound like I earn a wild salary 😉 )
That is why I need your help to make sure there is enough money for all of it.
And so that something comes back the other way too, beyond a lot of videos and pictures along the trail, I have put together some creative (I think so myself, at least) packages for people who want to donate a bit of money.
Over on the right (or at the bottom if you are on one of those newfangled smartphones) you can see the options and what you get in return. 🙂
It all runs through Paypal, so security is solid when you use your card.

If you are a company, maybe you have an idea for how I could do a bit of advertising for you along the way as thanks for a donation or some gear? My vlog on Youtube will be updated as often as possible on the trail (there will be stretches with no wifi or phone coverage) so there is plenty of room for a bit of promotion 😉
