Last post in Danish! 😉 Promise

Sony Nordic is sponsoring memory cards for the trip.

Tuesday morning, the clock says 8:43 and I am on my way out the door to work when my phone rings. Unknown number. Great, the cold callers are on the hunt again.

But curious as I am anyway, I pick up the receiver (jeez, that makes it sound like I am sitting there with an old rotary dial phone – old man!)

Mobile rings, unknown number, I answer it – there we go, totally hip with the young people on insta 🙂

I think I got a bit sidetracked there 🙂

Det er Thomas fra Sony Nordic, who has seen that I am heading off travelling, and on behalf of Sony Nordic he would like to offer me all the memory cards I need for the trip 🙂

Which means I at least do not have to think about how much video and how many photos I go around making. And at the same time Sony Nordic have saved me a relatively big outlay from the tight budget! Mega cool!

I need MicroSD cards for my video recording since, as written earlier, I will be using my iPhone for the video side. I have bought a little MicroSD card reader that you plug into your iPhone, and with the help of an app you can then copy photos and video both to and from the iPhone (the one Apple makes can only copy from card to phone).

Which means all the video I shoot on the trip can be copied onto MicroSD cards and stored away, so it is not sitting there filling up my phone.
Now I am counting on there being enough memory cards for the whole trip 🙂 Otherwise it is easy enough to get hold of some along the way – but I almost hope that will not be necessary, because it would mean I had shot an insane amount of video and taken a ridiculous number of photos 🙂

A thousand thanks to Thomas and Sony Nordic for the help!

Gear: the full setup I carried on the PCT is on the PCT 2018 gear list.

Stay on the same line
