This September, I’m setting off on a thrilling adventure along the Via Transylvania trail, a two week-long hike that will take me through the heart of Romania’s stunning landscapes. Starting at the northern end of the trail and hiking south, I’m eager to experience the breathtaking views, rugged terrain, and rich cultural history of this unique region.

One of the things I’m most excited about is reuniting with two fellow hikers I met during my 2023 hike on the Continental Divide Trail (CDT)—”Leeloo” and “Oculus.” After tackling the CDT together, we’re now teaming up for this next adventure, and I can’t wait to share the trail with them once again.

The Via Transylvania is known for its mix of mountain views, thick forests, and charming villages. It’s going to be an unforgettable journey, and I look forward to experiencing it all, from the serene beauty of the Carpathians to the hidden gems of Romania’s countryside.

While I won’t be uploading videos during the hike, stay tuned for updates on my YouTube channel after I return. Once I have time to edit and reflect on the trip, I’ll be sharing the full experience, so keep an eye out for those videos!
